Baby Bijoux as she’s called around the house. She came to us about 2 months after Sagesse crossed over. I’d been searching on Petfinders one night, after having visited PetSmart and a few other places. It was a Friday night. Saturday morning, pup and I raced over to the Shelter across town to visit with her and managed to get there just in time. She barely fit in the palm of my hand and she was determined to crawl up my leg.  And, of course, explaining to a then 3 year old why we couldn’t bring her home….now that was fun.

Three days later we brought her home. She acclimated to the house rather quickly and had Gabe eating out of her tiny paw. He tolerated her hissing at him and took to her faster than we ever thought possible. He let her crawl all over him…his and bat at him and never once did he hurt her. Surprising based on his sheer size and usual cantankerous self.

She is a little dingy. Although, my mother says that’s her age. She loves beheading mice and moles and loves her pup. She heads right for him first thing in the am and gets really annoyed if he’s spending the night somewhere other than here. She is our little princess. We cater to her soft meows to go out and to have the water in the sink turned on. She tends to hide when people come to visit and has been really missing her big brother.

She’s gorgeous and has the most beautiful blue eyes.
