Well, day two. She did really well over night, responded well to the medicine and off we went at 1pm to the Internal Medicine Doctor. I am only irritated about them not being able to read the xrays from the other vet.
Baby Girl seems to have been talented enough to get THREE BLADES OF GRASS stuck in her soft palette and her nose. The third piece being the most severely lodged.
Only our cat.
I go back over to check on her in an hour. We’ll know more then as to whether I can bring her home tonight, or tomorrow. Poor thing.
But…that picture to the left is one of the most precious I’ve been able to take of her in a long time

Wow Stacia. I have never heard of such a thing with grass, highly unusual. She is such a beautiful kitty. I didn’t know that you were a maine coon lover. I am too and my little Yogi who died in December was one. I was going to get another maine coon this spring, but them Fiona came along. I love furry cats, although I have a short hair and he is nice too. But I feel like the furry ones are friendlier. At least that’s been my experience. I also love norwegian forest cats. I guess I just love them all! I am happy that all is well with baby b and that she will be home soon.

I know. They eat the grass to get rid of the hairballs. LOL. And thank you, she’s home now. Stuck in the laundry room, but a lot happier she’s here than there. The poor thing. She snarfed down her dinner too. Who knew kitties liked baby food when they have sore throats!
I just tried to subscribe to your RSS feed and it told me some kind of PHP error! Fix it?
